Bye a land slide majority vote we now are
going to adopt the Lawrence Drive Tavern Nerang as the home of the gold coast 8
ball association. This year we will be playing solei out of the club house
There are many issues that will arise as we
leap forward with this new era in the association.

Bob Wass read out the minutes of the last years AGM, which was
moved by John Connor & seconded by Wayne Randall
Treasury Report:
The order
of Reports of the Gold Coast 8 Ball Association was presented and read out by
Rhonda Burnett, moved by Matthew Farrell & seconded by Melissa.
Greg
Dingle asked, how much did the new pool tables cost for the Club House? And can
I see a receipt?
Bob Wass answered, why do you always question us? Greg, it is
all in the Treasury Report, please refer it.
But since you have such an interest they cost $2750.00 each, + all the
accessories such as; the cue stands, the cues, the jiggers, the pool table
covers etc.
Selection of new committee:

Committee Members will now stand down from their positions.

stated that all nominations for a position on the executive committee had to be
in 21 days before this AGM.

/ Team Shirts – Ryan suggests that he has a contact that can supply & print
shirts up for the Players at a reasonable price
(around $20.00 per shirt) He will organise to bring samples to the next
meeting

Bob,
Bryan & Rhonda will be delivering flyers to businesses in the area (Nerang
Industrial Area) the flyers are for the purpose of advising people in the area
of our Club House, and asking for any interested players to come and have a
look and to see if they would like to join the Pool League.
